PAUL BASINILLO started his career in Advertising as an Art Director. Since then, Paul has worked with Caltex, J&J, Nestle, BPI Cards, Greenwich, Red Horse, Ford Philippines, Shell, Pfizer and Close-up. Paul made a brief hiatus to study cinematography at Mowelfund Philippines and Film Directing in Bangkok. He also did a stint as head of Marketing and Creatives for Viva Productions and he was involved with the hit shows “The Weakest Link” and “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.” In 2007, Paul made the jump to directing TV commercials and Music Videos and has not looked back since. He has helmed the commercials for various clients including Unilab, Century Tuna, Smart Communications, Tanduay Rhum among others. His recent TV commercial for the women’s rights group Gabriela took the Silver Award for Public Service in the 2012 Busan Ad Stars 2012. Paul also engages in other creative pursuits. He directed a TV series for GMA entitled Power House and has been directing high concept concerts for singers Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, Yeng Constantino and Enrique Gil. The concerts earned rave reviews and repeat performances.
